Great fun and dramatic weather were the features of the Cambrian selection weekend for Cadets on Sennybridge Army Training Ground in the Brecon Beacons recently.
Girls arrived back after the half term to find a brand new playground and learning facilities waiting for them. Reception pupils were greeted with a new outdoor, soft-surface learning zone attached to their classroom.
Seven girls participated in this year’s Mathematical Olympiad for Girls, an event run by the UK Mathematics Trust, introduced in 2011 to help nurture the talents of enthusiastic young female mathematicians.
