Year 3 and 4 pupils took an exciting leap back to the 1920s during their recent school performance, immersing themselves in the world of Mystery at Magpie Manor. Set in the mysterious and dilapidated manor, the play whisked us away to an estate that, although once grand, is now in grave disrepair. With secret passages, eccentric characters, and an intriguing plot, the girls captivated their audience with a truly unforgettable performance!
The girls put in an incredible amount of effort, mastering their lines, cues, and song lyrics. It was clear that all their hard work paid off when they took to the stage with confidence and enthusiasm. They gave three fantastic performances, each filled with energy, passion, and a real sense of achievement! They sang their hearts out and danced brilliantly, fully embracing the lively spirit of the 1920s!
A huge thank you to the parents for their ongoing support throughout the rehearsal process and for providing such wonderful costumes! Your encouragement, creativity, and involvement helped bring the play to life in such a special way. We also want to extend a special thanks to the audience members who joined in the Charleston – your enthusiastic participation was truly appreciated by the girls!
Congratulations to the girls for their outstanding effort and fantastic performance – an excellent job all around!
