Miss Elinor Edwards is remembered with great fondness by very many of us.
She passed away peacefully in her nursing home in Wrexham on 20th January 2019.
Teaching at Queen's for the vast majority of her career from the early 1950s until 1988, she was an astute, thoughtful and well-loved maths teacher and deputy headmistress.

12noon Funeral Service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, King Street, Wrexham LL11 1LE
We will always appreciate that Elinor was a dedicated supporter of girls' education with a lifelong commitment to the girls of The Queen's School, and Miss June Hargreaves and The Alumni Office are very grateful for memorial donations to the School Bursary Fund.
