There was a real sense of celebration across Queen’s as Year 13 marked their final day before heading off on study leave. Filled with laughter, tradition and memorable moments, the day gave pupils the opportunity to reflect on their time at school and celebrate together before the next stage of their journey begins.
One of the highlights of the day was the much-anticipated traditional “muck up” day, with Year 13 bringing plenty of energy, creativity and humour to the occasion. They also hosted a special Leavers’ Assembly for staff and younger year groups, sharing memories, reflections and messages of thanks from their time at Queen’s.
The celebrations continued in the sunshine, with ice creams enjoyed together before the afternoon’s eagerly awaited water fight. In true Queen’s fashion, Year 13 launched one final playful attack on the younger years, rounding off the day with plenty of fun and laughter.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 pupils and all they have achieved during their time at Queen’s. We wish them every success as they begin study leave and prepare for their next exciting chapter.
