Year 5 pupils enjoyed a fun-filled Discovery Day, experiencing life as a Senior School pupil at Queen’s as they begin to look ahead to their next exciting chapter.
With the sun shining throughout the day, the girls immersed themselves in a range of activities designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. They created colourful DNA models, painted their own bee artwork, explored creative writing through poetry, and learnt French through music.
Parents and families were invited to the school garden for afternoon refreshments, where they enjoyed seeing what the girls had been up to – including a surprise French musical performance.
Designed to provide a genuine insight into life at Queen’s Senior School, Discovery Day gave pupils the opportunity to experience specialist teaching, explore new subjects, make new friends and discover what makes Queen’s such a vibrant place to learn.
