Lower School Open House

Our Lower School Open House for Infant and Junior entry to The Queen's School is a chance for families to get a real feel for the school on a normal school day.

The school day is extended to enable as many parents as possible to soak up the atmosphere of this unique school. Many parents bring their daughter and the rest of the family but some prefer not to; either is fine.

At a time convenient, you will tour the school with our current pupils during which time the girls will talk to you about the opportunities on offer to them and show you the school's facilities. This is also your chance to ask questions about how they are finding their time at Queen's.

During the tour there will be opportunities to talk to our new Lower School Headmistress Miss Iona Carmody and other senior teaching staff about the core values of the school, what makes us unique and how we achieve such outstanding academic results, year on year.

There is usually time within proceedings to hear our award-winning choir, listen into a languages lesson, watch the swimming team in action, visit the forest school area, have a play with our technology and relax with a cup of coffee and chat to our current parents from the Parents' Association.

Please note that this event takes place at The Queen's Lower School, 55 Liverpool Road, Chester, CH2 1AW. See our school location page for details.

The next Open House takes place on Friday 2 October 2020. Families are always welcome to have a look around the school at their convenience however, and taster days can be arranged at a time and date to suit you. If you would like any further information please contact our Admissions Manager Anne Lyons on 01244 312078 or email admissions@thequeensschool.co.uk
