Entrance Assessment Preparation Morning
Unlock Her Potential
Saturday 14 June | Morning Session | Limited Availability | For girls in Years 4 and 5
Is your daughter currently in Year 4 or 5 and starting to think about her next big step into Senior School? Join us for a specially designed preparation morning to help her gain confidence and familiarity with the entrance assessment experience — and give you, as a parent, valuable insight into how she’s progressing and the journey ahead.
During the session, your daughter will take part in a one-hour online assessment, mirroring the format of the online component commonly used in selective Senior School entrance procedures. This will be followed by a series of engaging, skills-based activities to round off the experience in a fun and purposeful way.
You will have the option to receive a personalised feedback report (£10 charge), offering a clear picture of your daughter’s current performance — highlighting strengths and identifying any areas where she may benefit from further support.
While the girls are working…
Parents are invited to several insightful talks from our Headmistress, Mrs Keville, Head of Sixth Form, Mr Wilson, Deputy Head, Mr Penney, and our Associate Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning, Mrs Garton. Together, they’ll guide you through:
- What to expect from the assessment process
- An overview of the journey into Year 7
- Practical advice and top tips for preparation at home to help your daughter prepare and feel confident
- Insight into the benefits of what a Queen’s education will do for your daughter
- And much more
Why attend?
- Gain a clear understanding of your daugher’s current performance in the online component of entrance assessments.
- Receive a personalised feedback report – (optional for £10) with detailed insights into her strengths and areas to develop — ideal for any parent considering a selective Senior School route.
- Hear from the experts: During your daughter’s session, we’ll demystify the assessment process and share insights on how best to support your daughter over the coming months.
The morning will end with refreshments and a chance to chat with staff in a relaxed setting.
